The Secret to My Glory

The spirit of the Lord impressed the following question upon me: Who or what is influencing you? Then He answered in the most profound way. He began speaking in a simple understandable way which He often does, yet what unfolded after a simple question became the most transforming word I ever received:

What or who you pay attention to is what or who can influence or persuade you. Watch what you pay attention to. If someone tells you to be aware of a red car, then you will tend to be influenced and see red cars more. They were always there, but now the influence causes you to be more focused and aware of them. This is how influence works.

A little leaven leavens the whole lump. Galatians 5:9

Look to Me. Be influenced by Me. Let My example be your guide. You say often, "Christ in you, the hope of glory." My people know they can't attain My glory by their own efforts. How then do you experience My glory says the Lord? How? This is My glory and it will not be shared with another. But it will be poured out according to My will.

I need BROKEN VESSELS. The polished, the strong, the perfect vessels, will not be able to contain My glory. The broken vessels who do not rely on themselves, but trust in Me are My chosen vessels. They hope in Me. Their strength is in Me. They cannot rely upon their own strength or ability. The light of My glory beams through their brokenness; the brokenness that they cannot fix on their own. They are dependent on Me. My life is revealed in jars of clay; My treasure in earthen vessels. In the same way a sovereign God decided to come to you in the form of a man. My own son was despised and rejected. He didn't enter triumphantly with worldly customs, but instead entered Jerusalem on a donkey. My way is not of the world. My path is humble. My vessels are lowly and victorious at the same time. My word, right from My throne, will not come as the world expects and much of the world will not receive it as in the same way Jesus came to His own and His own did not receive Him. My people know their victory is in Me and Me alone. They know My word and know there is no where to go as I hold the words of life.

The day of the "super Christian" is long over. The time of all your leadership conferences are over. I will not be found there. I say, give Me the broken, give Me the least of these, so that the same power that raised My son from the grave will be displayed in you. Your outer shell might be broken, but your heart has found favor in My sight. A steadfast heart towards Me I will not deny. Your own wisdom, standing or gifting does not qualify you. Your dependence on Me does. My glory will only reside and pass through those who are not full of themselves. Self gets in the way and it is an obstacle to My glory. Let those who boast, boast in Me. Let those who hope, hope in Me. Let the poor say I am rich and the weak say I am strong because of what the Lord has done. What have you done? Have your created yourself or "re-created" yourself? How many use this talk to prop themselves up?

Apart from Me you could do nothing. Your brain and decision making ability comes from Me. Who among you calculated the circumference of the earth and started it in motion? I have given you the ability to boast in Me because I desire to include you in what I do. I have done it all for you. I don't need praise because I AM THAT I AM, but as you praise Me you put the enemy to flight, you summon angels to your side and you flourish in My presence.

I, Myself, am humble in heart. I am love and love puts others first. Love sacrafices and covers a multitude of sin. I see you through eyes of love, and rejoice over you as you rejoice in Me. My choice is you! I called you by My own glory and goodness. I selected you, handpicked you before the beginning of time. I take great delight in you. You are My pride and joy.

Make your calling and election sure and I will shine through your weakness. Add to your faith, goodness, knowledge, self control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection and love. By doing so you will not stumble and I will richly welcome you into My eternal kingdom. Don't be nearsighted or even blind which many have become. If you follow these things the world will see Me and not you. Putting their hope in you or your ability will not help them.

Know that My goal is My people. I am a jealous God. I will go to the ends of the earth to draw you back. I will deal with those who have lured My people away. Now, put your hope in Me, that you will lack nothing, and be assured that there is nothing I cannot do.
