Who do I Look Upon?

In this season I could hear the Lord remind me that we are about His work and not to take on unnecessary burdens or think of His work as burdensome. The Lord would say, I am the one who accomplishes My work through you. I set up what I intend to do and work through My vessels. You just need to be willing and obey My direction. I do the rest, and desire you to rest in Me as I do that which you cannot in your own strength or ability. I desire that people know it's Me at work in their lives, and not yourselves. This way people will trust in Me and not you. With this foundational truth in mind, I will remind you of what It means to be a witness: A witness testifies to what they have seen, heard or experienced. By testifying, you give an eyewitness account of what I have done. Your individual accounts of testifying about Me expresses the creativity that I have imparted to each one. Each with their own ways of expressing what I have done not only reveals My ways, but it also reveals the truth like a perfect tapestry of individuals of which there are no two alike, to reveal My creative design of mankind. You are My witnesses, chosen by Me to reveal what I do. Know this, because I will call you to reveal more as I act in ways that will increase in your lives. I warn you as I give you new testimonies, do not add to them or express too much through feelings or even pride because then the focus goes to you and not Me. Being a simple, truthful witness, expressing what you have witnessed Me do points to Me and what I can do in people's lives. If you do not express some kind of specialness to deserve My involvement in your life, then many will understand that I can do the same for them. Your testimony gives hope to what I can do for others and not just you. People will be encouraged to seek Me if they are pointed to Me in your testimonies. I have specific purposes in what I give you to testify about.

You must decrease so that I can increase. As people see Me and not you, they will draw close to Me. Too many want attention through social media, but not just there, as this is one of the enemy's tactics. This also happens in your churches as the enemy appeals to the human need to be recognized and seen. You need to turn that to just want to be seen and recognized by Me. I recognize the lowly, the humble, the one who trembles at My word. I lift up the humble. I raise up the one who is dedicated to be faithful in the little and not always looking for more. Being faithful in the little is not a formula or a strategy to get more or to be raised up. It shows the heart posture that I look upon. It shows who is content serving Me no matter where they are planted. They are focused on Me and seek to glorify Me in their daily lives. This is why they are raised up. Some will not be raised up because the increase is what they really want.

I say, let My servant be content in their humble position. What if this glorifies Me? Am I enough? I have tested you to see what is in your heart. Be thankful in all situations for this is God's will in Christ Jesus concerning you. Let the Christian be grateful in their low position. Godliness with contentment is great gain. Those in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position because I Myself am with the humble. I oppose the proud. I Myself am gentle and humble in heart and that is why you can find rest for your souls in Me. Mimic Me, be transformed into My image; be gentle and humble. Think of others as better than yourselves. Lift others up instead of yourselves. Speak highly of others instead of boasting in subtle, even circular ways that you think is not boastful. I weigh the heart. Understand what it means to crucify the flesh with its passions and desires.

With humility comes wisdom, with humility comes honor, and with humility comes My presence. Humility is the common thread that runs throughout revival. The humble will find Me. The humble will find grace and a crown of glory. Humble yourselves and I will raise you up. Seek to be raised up and I will humble you. The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life. Proverbs 22:4

I call you to finish up strong, in the same way you would instruct your own children to finish up strong. No one want to barely enter as escaping raging flames. As you want your children to have a firm assurance of your blessed hope, I too want this for you. Remember that you are about My work and not your own. As you draw close to Me and acknowledge me in all your ways I will make your steps sure. You will be established by My own hand and enter My kingdom victoriously.
